Frequently Asked Recycling Questions

What is the cost of used pallets in Nevada?

As a state, Nevada has one of the more affordable used pallet prices in the country. Prices can vary based on the market and the supply chain in question. For full truckload orders (500-616), you can expect to pay anywhere between $3 and $8 per pallet.

It is very important to note that the pallet size, as well as the pallet type, also play a major role in determining the pallet cost. If you would like a quote, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.

When used pallets are recycled, how much do you get paid for them?

Again, there is a wide range of prices paid for pallets in the state. Used Pallet Recycling pays anywhere from $4 to $6 a unit on average depending on the condition of the skid and the amount per pickup. Broken and unwanted skids are also free to be picked up by us.

What is a Grade A Pallet(#1)

There is a lot of debate regarding what constitutes a Grade A Pallet, but we define it as follows:

  • There are seven boards on top
  • There are five boards on the bottom
  • There is no guarantee that 6″ lead boards will be present on every pallet, but some pallets may contain 6″ boards
  • There is an average spacing of 2.5″ to 3.5″ between top decks
  • A total of three stringers (1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ each)
  • Four-way entry
  • Flush
  • Stringers and boards should not be broken
  • In order to strengthen any splits in the stringers, repair plates may be mounted on each stringer
  • Clean

How do you define a Grade B Pallet(#2)?

Grade B pallets are 48 x 40 in size. They may have some minor damage to the boards or stringers but remain functional. These pallets have been used multiple times and may have some wear and tear
