Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Grade A, B, and C pallets?
Grade A pallets are in the best condition, with few or no repairs. Grade B pallets are structurally sound but may have repairs and cosmetic wear. Grade C pallets show more wear and suit one-way shipping or light-duty use. Grading varies by supplier, so confirm the definition with yours.
What is the standard pallet size?
The most common pallet size in the US is the GMA 48x40 inch pallet. Other common sizes include 42x42 (drum pallets) and 48x48 (square pallets). Partner suppliers can quote on standard and custom sizes.
How many pallets can I order?
Partner suppliers handle orders from small loads to full truckloads. Minimums and pricing for larger orders are set by the supplier who quotes you.
Can pallets be delivered?
Delivery is available through partner suppliers in many areas. Whether it is offered, and what it costs, depends on your location and order size.
Can I mix different grades in one order?
Often, yes. For example, Grade A for retail-facing areas and Grade B for warehouse storage. Mention the mix in your request and the partner supplier will confirm.
Can I get heat treated pallets for export?
Yes, you can request heat-treated pallets. Under ISPM 15 the wood core is heated to 56 °C for at least 30 minutes, and the pallet carries the ISPM 15 mark with an HT code. Check current regulations for your destination country.
How quickly can an order be filled?
Timing depends on the partner supplier's stock and your location. The supplier confirms timing in its quote.
Can I sell pallets back when I'm done with them?
Yes, you can send a sell or recycling request. Partner buyers and recyclers may pay for reusable pallets or collect them, depending on condition, quantity and location.
